I know it's tough to shoot under those conditions, Sandy, but you've done it well. That is a nice scene.

Thanks all for the comments, Stan; It does give the feel of cold, snowy, bleakness so I guess in that respect it's a good photo. I'm just never sure whats the best metering to use or should I increase the EV by one or two stops, or sometimes I get confused and think I should decrease it. I remember in film with the strictly manual SLRs you would actual close the lens down 1 or 2 stops, because the meter is reading off of the snow and giving a false reading. Digital works a little different.

Know the feeling, and you guys in little Rhoadie got hammered worse than we did. Snow is nice but enough is enough. gets to the point I don't care what I shoot or how it comes out, at least I took a picture.   Sure would be nice to get a little green in one though.

It's just as well, you know all those people who live down south and out west wish they had our scenery!!

Hey, all the snow melted here in the Capital of Alberta, sucks though because it is minus 20 Celcius out there which is freezing, and its worse than that, cause you look out the window see no snow so you think it is warm out there.
Was taking pictures today. It was so cold my battery froze and my picture taking ended in the middle of a shot.
