This weekend we saw about 18” of the white powder come drifting from the sky.
It was a winter wonderland!

Of course it wasn’t so wonderful for some people as they left their vehicles abandoned:

Looks like we’re going to have a white Christmas this year.

I've always had problems shooting snow.

Fortunately I live in the desert.

Thanks... contrast is challenging in the snow. It probably would have helped to have a CPL on at the time.

No mountains nearby to shoot?

And it just won't STOP! We're supposed to live in a rainforest, not a winter wonderland. :D

Thank you, it's one of my favourites from the set I took that day too.

It was a good time to get that shot... the sun was just coming up over the southeastern horizon giving a nice orange/pink glow.
