Daffodills

This is actually the first picture I've ever taken for fun rather than to "capture a moment" with friends or something of that nature. What do you think?

And uhh.. ignore the bottom right portion of this picture.

I think it's very nice! Especially if you're saying that it is your first try!


How can you actually get such a close outline from the yellow flowers? What I mean is: how did you selected them to such perfection before converting the rest to greyscale?

I zoomed in very close and took my time. I just used a very small "hue" airbrush in photoshop to trace around the outside of the flowers, and then I used a bigger one outside of them. I'm sure there's an easy way, but I've yet to find it.
