Hi I am not exactly new been here about 2 weeks or so..but now just found this part xD
I am going to post a Big Introduction xD
I am Nick, I am 17. I use a Canon Powershot S5 IS, Canon Powershot A550, and LG VX9100 Camera Phone.
Just wanted to Say Hi, and Happy Holidays (Merry Christmas to not be politically Correct :D...I am Christian :))

I found my love photography when i got my first Camera phone (LG VX8300) then when i worked during the summer, i had enough money left over from buying a laptop, I bought my first Digital Camera. (GE A830) after replacing it twice due to random failure (not user induced) I got tired of it and decided to choose my Canon Powershot A550. It worked great for a year..then i was doing a stupid Stunt View Successful Run here... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e88bnHTVbg&fmt=18)ok...So the run after that did do so well. I hit a small rock which made me trip i fell got road burn, my camera/tripod flew out of my hands and it hit the ground slid and hit a cement block. the lens was out it got cracked and the camera casing came apart..so i got that replaced with a Refurbished one for $75...lol{I still have the refurbished one) the last summer i was like "I am going to save up to buy a camera" but there was mishap in my Job (I had $500 in savings) I didnt like my job so i got $60...so thats where I got my S5 IS... and now i want to get a EOS.... and want to be a Professional Landscape Photographer when i am older (while being a graphics designer)

</End of longest forum introduction I have ever done>

Welcome to the forum Nick, wow 17 yrs old and you already know what you want to do. Waaaay back when I was 17 the cost of getting into photography was way out of my reach, infact its been in just the last 5 years or so that I have had the time and $$ get into photography the way I always wanted to. You are lucky that you can get into this at such a young age ~

My first "real" camera was a film SLR that I stuggled to learn how to use, at that time film and prints were expensive and my results were often quite disapointing - thank goodness for digital, the internet, and this forum - you will definetly enjoy hanging around here because there will be lots to learn.
