New Member: Some of my work

New to the forum but I have been doing photography on and off for a while. I like all the photos I post so I won't be upset if you don't like them. I shot them with a Canon Rebel XTi using the dreaded kit lens. Let me know what you all think!

I like them, you got an interesting eye for things.

I like the PP on these as well; I little obvious, but I think it works for these shots.

My only gripe is some seem a little crooked (#2,#3, & #6).

1, 2, and 3 are nice. As mentioned above, 2 and 3 are a little crooked. In 4 i feel like there has been detail lost in the sky, and I would've added a bit more contrast to make the building pop. In 6 I feel like there's too much contrast, if that is what i think it is, anyway. It looks like storage units, but the red is very red and the locks look white. 5 is pretty neat looking, but I haven't the slightest clue of what it is. And welcome to the forum!! Thanks for the kind words everyone! I will post some more in a different thread later. Still trying to figure out all of the rules and areas of this forum.

oh and the second one from the bottom is a view looking from the nose down to the tail of surf board

I like them all. For some reason I'm always drawn to bricks. I think I like the patterns, so that's my favorite. The surfboard is cool too

A nice start, some things are a little off for me like the DOF of #3 but I think that's more subject. I really like number 4
