I think the intention is pretty cool, but I think it is too simple for the effect you are trying to pull off. The subject seems too prim and proper for a "split personality". That is just the way I see it, but I think the original would be a great portrait.

I didn't have a plan when I took these shots, but I agree with you...if she were screaming but here eyes were smiling that would really go with the whole "split personality" thing. And the original wouldn't make a very good portrait because the original is actually two images. One shot of just her eyes and one shot of just her mouth. I'm not sure what my intentions were when taking these shots, but we had fun doing it! :)
