Hello everybody,

My name is Hein and I am quite new to photography. This is my first post of my own shots from my 2-month old A95. Because I am new to the forum I'll leave a little intro of myself:

I just turned 20 and that was the opportunity to buy myself the new toy after many hours hardly working :). Buying a higher quality camera was the second step that I took in photography, the first was a course I did when I was at school that taught me the real basics. All I got to know was how a camera actually worked. Now I am a second-year student of Naval Engineering at the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.

Lots of time to waste, and great eager to learn. All I learned until now was from books I find every now and then at the sales corner of a local bookstore and since 2 weeks ago from this forum.

PLEASE CRITICISE. Tell me what I done wrong! Please let me know how you feel about the photos I post.

These two are the best out of 60 from a little water adventure I've done. Then I modified them to the photos that come in the next post. (they come from different cranes. 1st bathroom / 2nd kitchen)

1/500 - f/8 - minimum input flash - MACRO mode

The first 2 did nothing for me, but the last 2 were great. especially the last one... really great shot, clear and detailed.
