Sorry Stuart but I'm not huge at critique when it's someone with a helluva lot more photography experience than me. I do like the sitting roo very much though. Always enjoy your photo's.:)

I feel the same way. I tried to critique as many photos as I could.

The standard of your work is very high, Stuart.
Many of your shots look like they'd make excellent greetings cards.
One small point where the effects have worked against you.
The drop shadow is effective with the background, but
disturbing on the foreground subject.
Notably the Meercat and the Pelican, but on all really...
bee, grasshopper etc.
It's very bad on Cassie on her bike.
Here the shadow of the subject is spoiling your picture.
When using flash we try to avoid that dreaded shadow on the wall.
When we know that it's inevitable, we arrange to have the flash
throwing the shadow BEHIND the subject's head, not in front,
as in the Cassie image.
I would suggest leaving the subject shadow out. Stay with only the background shadow.
Very fine album, Stuart. One you can be really proud of.
