scary how i have literally, almost the exact same shots. and we stood in probably the exact same spots to get the pics, with the same lens!

but yes, the size of that thing is awesome. still the most powerful one EVER. i wish i could have gotten to see/hear/feel that thing lift off! They should think about going back to it haha

I have never seen a machine of such size....ever! Thankfully I took my 10-20 which I had a suspicion might just be of use.

I also took my L lens - 70-200 with a 1.4II for the long shots of the launch pads which we couldn't get near to.

I saw a Saturn V in Huntsville, AL and, as others have said, it is quite the piece of machinery.

There was also a mock-up of the shuttle on the Titan IV (?)(too lazy to look it up ;) )

Nice launch pad/gantry shot too!
