Finally got around to connecting my brand new i9900 to a computer today. That's one step further than the last one accomplished. It had the metal rail upon which the printhead runs laying in the bottom of it.
This one (my second, in a week) feeds only the right side of the paper, resulting in a hell of a mess. Canon will send an "instant" replacment. Instant, in this case, means next Wednesday, or Thursday. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Meanwhile, I NEED to know if this printer is as fragile as it certainly seems, at this point. I plan to use it "on the road" making prints, on the spot. It will be transported a whole lot. If it is fragile, I need to beg new egg for a refund! I simply can not have this!
Please, if you have had similar problems with the i9900, speak up.
