Went snow hiking today...

to a place called "Yatsugadake". It was freezing cold and windy. We hiked up and around the mountainside for about 6 hours. Despite the harsh conditions, my Drebel and I returned intact. I took this shot using my Sigma 18-50mm lens. (That is allowed on this forum, isn't it?)

I always like the frost on the trees prior to the sun melting it away . . . pretty photograph.
