More British B Ball from the weekend

Some b/ball action from Saturday's game between Manchester Magic and Kingston Wildcats, very close from the start till finish. But I wasn't entirely happy with myself for missing some great actions while switching between 2 bodies :(

more consistantly quality work from you sGu...every game its the same superb color, action, expressions and framing. i really like the first one just because of the spacing of the 3 defenders and its such a small moment frozen in time, like he's just floating there.

that slow shutter panning is coming along nicely i think. this is the best one to date. the background is great, and his legs look like they are really moving. to get the upper body or head sharp on one of these i think it is going to come down to luck. all the practice and skill you aquire doing it will get you to a certain point, but i think the perfect one of these is going to come down to plain old fashioned luck at some level. plus its not like you can spend all game trying to get these shots but with the limited time you are allocating it is starting to pay off. thanx for continuing to take em as i quite enjoy them.

Panning shot sure is the best one so far, yet still didn't manage to keep face completely sharp. I gave up trying during the game, because I was missing out on a lot of actions. The whole game was very very competitive throughout, so I went back to 85mm and kept my hands on it.

I've been panning because I couldn't mount my cam on the top of the board :( will need to speak with the people there regarding that issue, also possibility to mount strobes overhead.

...the dungeon of doom! Without strobes in the rafters, the remote plan is on ice at the moment!! Next season, there are rumours that the team will be moving to another venue... I'm crossing my fingers!
