Firstly, forgot to sign out of girlfriend's account, but in actual fact it was me, Incomplete Pete, who took these shots *nods*

Shots from a freeeeezing cold day at Donington Park! As I only had a 70-200 f2.8 with 1.4 TC, I was rather limited with positions on the track, hence a few similar shots!

All comments welcome, as per usual!

Nice pics Pete... and the first time i've seen the BSB guys this year :-) I like the pic of Scott Smart [88] and I expect he'll do well on the Suzi this year. Let's hope that Dean Thomas [12] can fill his boots back at Hawk... oh, and yep, that's may favourite pic of the bunch... the composition is great.

Hope I can return the favour in a couple of weekends when they come to Brands for race 1.

Was it easy enough to get into the paddock on the testing day? or did you need a special pass?

Thanks, never shot motorsport before, want to try it again ASAP!

BSB is tough to get into, I got into this event through the agency I "work" (I'm one of their assistants who wires images etc) for, for all races you need a season pass. To get one of them you need to be working for one of the big magazines, it's pretty strict for race days.

We need to see a pic of Pete & Muffin together, I am begining to suspect it's one and the same person :D :D

Excellent pict from Donington. I would try not to crop the back of the bikes, us bikers are very proud of our bikes "tails".

Pete... yeah, it is pretty addictive... almsot as much as riding them ;)

Neil... i think although the tails of the bikes is defo a hot spot at the mo with all the underseat pipes stuff going on, i like the crops on these pics, as it's different to the mainstream. .. pics 5, 6, and 7 do it for me.

Oh, and is that Mr Reynolds i spy in the last pic? How's his leg... didn't give you any clue to whether or not he'd be riding at Brands did he?

Now you're talking my language. Just viewed the pix on the web site. You did quite well especially considering your lack of access. My favorite in this layout is the sixth one down. It shows the closeness of m/c racing and you can see the eyes of the Kawasaki rider. Not 20 minutes ago I reasd an article about Neil Hodgson coming to AMA Superbike. Wish him well.

Couple of panning shots for you, Gavin!

Please excuse the hugely mucky sensor!

Littlenose, nope, Reynolds wasn't riding, just out of site of this shot was a pair of crutches, he seemed to hobbling around a fair bit.

I guess that's why you got a smile from Scott, but not John ;)
I hope he's back on track soon enough that he can defend his title.

Oh, and i like the panning shots... they're definitely showing teh speed of the bikes :)

Amazing shots Pete!!! I love the 8th one in the first set, and the panning shots, like Littlenose said they give you an amazing sense of speed!

Thanks!

Will have to go to more BSB events this year, see if I can wangle my way in via my agency!
