Amherst Island Ontario

Wondering if anyone here could provide the "do's & dont's" of visiting Amherst.
I'm thinking of making the trip tomorrow. Any insight would be greatly appreciated !

Do bring a lunch and have gas in your car. There are no food facilities or gas stations on the island. With the strange weather lately, there are probably lot's of muddy areas now so be prepared with decent boots. As of last week, the road to Owl Woods was really snowed in but it may have gotten drivable with the recent rain.

Do practice ethical birding & photography so you don't upset the serious birders that maybe there. Be nice and don't use a flash with the owls. :)
