My husband surprised me Christmas morning with a Canon 40D with a Sigma 28-70mm F2.8-4 DG lens! This is my first SLR...aside for my moms Rebel XT that I'm always borrowing from her and practicing with but now I have my own camera and don't have to annoy her :-D

I started reading the instruction manual but was wondering if there were any good tutorials online to help me get acclimated to it? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for these...I'll check them out right now. I started playing around with it yesterday during Christmas and was shocked and amazed at the pictures that came out. It takes some gorgeous macro shots! I'll have to post them when I get home.
