i'm not sure if this thread is in the right category, if not please move it to the correct location.
This comming wendsday night i will be leaving for new york after i get off work. I have never been before but have always wanted to go. i am mostly go to take photos and also to explore around a bit. I was wondering if anyone had any good tips of what and where to shoot for stunning photos that are not run-of-the-mill.
when i visit i plan to target my lens around landmarks and historical buildings and bridges, Urban life including people and metropolitan areas, and nature interacting with the landscapes.
Also if anyone has any tips on what equipment i should either bring, purchase or rent before the trip that would be a great help. also i would like to know what restrictions on photography if any exist.
