Here's a pic i took while visiting France... Leonardo da Vinci arrived in Amboise on the Loire in 1815 after an invitation from King Francis I. He spent the last years of his life here, and they've transformed the building that he lived in into a museum... Being an engineer, I had a whale of a time, and think i spent about 3-4 times as long in the place as most people.
If you've any interest in the man, then it's well worth a visit.

Nice shot. I like the sculpture, but the house in the background is great.

Thats no sculpture! Thats an Archimedes Screw! (I think) One maybe powered by wind, to bring water up from a well.

OK, I like the screw.

It was actually a working exhibit... and it's based on the drawings Da Vinci made of the helicopter... a quick search in google for "da vinci helicopter" will give more than enough info.
Thanks for the comments.

Nice picture but Leo didn't arrive there in 1815. He passed away in the early 1500's. Either way, I bet that musuem rocked.
