Just wondering. Over the past year or two the market has been flooded with them. TN panel LCDs are notorious for poor color reproduction and lackluster viewing angles, but I have also heard they have improved some. I can't say this is true or not, as I have been using a MVA panel for a while now. So, are there any picky photographers out there that are satisfied with a TN monitor? I recently saw a deal on a 24" TN monitor but decided against it...

Hmm...no one? Hint: if you use a 22" LCD, it uses a TN panel...

Um, I can be the brave soul. I use a 24" TN panel and a 19" TN. I've zero issues regarding color reproduction; perhaps because I calibrate mine.

Reasons: Color issues non-existent. I use my monitor for other purposes, the response time is better in TN. Price. Viewing angles - I never use a monitor except straight on...

I'm not picky. If it looks like it did on my screen after printing it I consider myself satisfied.

I use a 22" Acer TN. It works fine for my needs. I guess since I haven't seen what a better monitor is capable of, so I don't know what I am missing.

i calibrate on my acer. i didn't have enough money to get a 24-inch monitor that's not TN. just calibrate and you'll be fine.

I spent the past 3 month trying to find a reliable manufacturer of an IPS monitor only to find that most of them seem to use whatever panel they have at the time. I finally gave up a bought a 20" Apple Cinema.
