View Full Version : Lynn in the Garage... "Does that thing got a HEMI?"

It sure does... My buddy invited me out to do a shoot in his service bay, and had this HEMI-charged Dodge Magnum on hand... I took my friend out to get some headshots done. Killing two birds with one stone...

All critique and comments are welcome.

Canon 10D with 50mm 1.8 @ 400ISO. One offset model light.

Let's see........a hemi has "rounded" combustion chambers in the heads..........I do think those chambers are also "rounded".......

Oh, and I'll post up the original of the second shot... I know some of you are going to notice this, but the nose of the Magnum is cut off in the left of the frame, and the power tool to the right is also almost cut off... I had to frame this for print, so unwantingly, the sides had to be cropped... I'll repost as soon as I have a chance.

I like number 1 quite a bit. Very nice. But I think you can't really tell about performance without getting the hood up. Any topless shots? ;)

Gotta say, as hot as the babe is - I'd have to take the Dodge - those Hemi Wagons kick some serious a--! Just think of how much photot equipment one could fit in the back too!

Haha, sure do, but unfortunately, I don't have the authorization to post those, as Lynn still views the nude aspect as "whorish" or "slutty"... So she doesn't want her pics out there... Time to break that mold... :)

Explain the fine-art aspect of good glamour (seriously) and that you have some fans who would like to see the images in that context.

I never get bored looking at photos of good looking girls. Specially when the photo was done by a good photographer. ;)

Again, great shots imho!
#2 is my favourite (superb lighting and composition), followed closely by #1.
I'm a bigger fan of tight crops, so #3 doesn't work for me quite as well. Too much competition between the car and the model :)

First photo is great! Why 400 ISO and was the 10D on basic portrait zone or in the creative zone in the 1st shot? Second photo is also nice, but composition needs some work. Very pretty model; put her in front of a Lamborgini for a better fit! (Just kidding)

you don't think #2 is just WAY too busy? I love the color, pose, and composition, but imho would like it much better with just lynn and the care against a simple black background or something. as is... I'll just call it playful.

#1 is DEFINITELY a keeper. that's one awesome shot, jO3!!
