Water Festival, Thailand

I’m visiting Chiang Mai in mid April, when they start their New Years celebrations, and apparently it is customary for people to throw water over each other as a sign of respect…



I’m hoping to get some nice pics and are concerned about the flying water.



Has anyone been there at this time, and do I need to get a waterproof casing for my precious 20D (i.e. plastic bag :confused: ) or will it cope with a light spray?!

If I remember right Don Ellis is familiar with that area.
