why is my camera doing this

my camera is acting verry weird.whenever i try to delete a picture it doesnt delete the screen turns off.it is very annoying.what is it?
p.s.:my camera is a olympus

I don't know much about Olympuses (Olympii?), but I'd check to make sure that the batteries are fresh and/or fully charged.

Don't delete photos on your camera anyway. Delete after downloading to your pc.

I think it know its not a canon, and it knows you really need a canon.

So its being a good olympus and sacrificing itself to a greater good.

Get all the pictures off there and format the card in your Olympus. I once let a friend use a memory card of mine, and for some reason when I got it back, it kept causing my Nikon Coolpix to lock up until I formatted it.
