another Newbie thanks to Santa !

Well hello all ... :)
I am a Canon newbie ! :D
Thanks to Santa (aka hubby) I am now the proud owner of a new
50D with a 28 - 135 IS lens ! :eek:

I have been shooting with a Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D for the last 5 years but
have been hesitant to build on it (lenses, acessories) based on the fact that they are defunct and my warranties are all expired. I LOVE my 7D but ... realized that if I wanted to continue to grow with my photography I needed sometjing to build upon that wasn't going anywhere ... thanks Canon !

Looking forward to learning all about Canon and the new baby !

Will try to share photos as soon as I can have the time to take some !
