My First Picture with my 40D!

When taking this I didn't realize the whole snowflake wasn't in focus but I just wanted to show a pic from my Christmas Present!

Congrats on the new present. If you look closely at it, you'll see there's a small button near the left side bottom of the lens (right side if you're looking at the front of the camera) for DOF preview so that next time you can get the whole snow flake in focus :D.

Besides being OOF (which you saw yourself) the composition is great along with the coloring and lighting. Nice shot.
