Hi,
This is my daughter Kyla, i recently bought the cybersyncs and thought i would try some off camera flash. What do you all think? The first one was taken by her daddy and processed by him the second one was taken by myself

I like the first one. Wish her body was turned little bit not flat to the camera.

Overexposed high key works really well with blonde children.

A couple things to note on your images:

The first one looks over saturated in the eyes, hair and mouth. Also, the shadows appear pretty harsh.

The second is much better, but you still have a yellowish area behind the child, and something else going on behind her other arm.


Try to soften your light to prevent the harsh shadows. Overexposing up to 2/3 of a stop can produce some great results:
