first time trying this so the blending isn't all that great, but i think it still came out kinda neat

If it weren't for the landscape, it would be almost seamless! Looks amazing!

yeah, but as much as i want to, i can't crop out the runway, it's part of the story

oh well.. practice makes perfect :D

WHat did you use to stitch it together?

Try autostitch, sometimes it works better.

Very nice idea! Pretty good execution.

it was actually shot in manual, as my camera doesn't allow continuous shooting in auto. and i can only guess.. CP.. circular polarizer? if so, no.. this is just a point and shoot, canon sd750

I like the concept and execution. You're right practice makes perfect. IMO, just work on the post-processing and you've got a great shot.

CP.. circular polarizer? if so, no.. this is just a point and shoot, canon sd750 Yes, CP = circular polarizer. If you were already in manual, then there's not much you could to fix sky while you were shooting. It's not a bad try though, & I like it.

I have to agree that you have had a really nice idea there. I suspect I won't be alone in going out and trying that at some point.
