Just getting the hang of the I.S. on the 100-400L after a coupla months.
this from the Napier Aquarium yesterday at 1/30 handheld, breathheld, and cross fingers...

I like it! what kind of lighting was there? He looks kind of a blue shade.

Very sharp, but I think WB is off slightly. Hard to believe hand-held at 1/30 and so sharp. That's a great lens.

Thanks all,
the lighting was pretty awful and shot through glass - I had to try & find a clean bit!
Just as well the beastie didn't move ( in fact a lot of people were thinking it was a stuffed animal - until he yawned, much to their suprise.)
I shot a lot of shark & fish photo's with a 16-35 and most of those were out of focus as they moved too quick...
