Hi,

Welcome to me :o :o

I am new in here because I just bought myself my first digital camera. I finally turned over from my Canon Eos 300 slr into digital stuff. A have chosen for a learning process with the powershot a510. After this I plann to buy a canon eos again.

I hope I can get nice pictures with my A510, anymore A510 owners in this forum

Thanks, I'll try to shoot and contribute photo's. Still have to learn all those digital gadgets. Not to mention buying a new memory card. Those 16 mb free cards with the camera is nothing.

hi,
just a suggestion but don't go overboard with one memory card , try to strike a balance over a couple that way if one craps out or is accidentally erased you have a chance of not losing everything
Also read and nderstand the manual , practivcce when it doesn't matter then you will be prepared when that great shot comes along , cos there won't be tiem to go home and read the book then

What tip can you give. Should I go for a 512 or two cards of 256. I now have a 16 mb and my brother gave me a 64 mb. And how about brands. Digital is so much harder to understand.
