Wow, beautiful - that first photo is just wonderful!
Me and the wife will be traveling Oz and NZ for 6 months starting next January and this place is on our list of must sees, can't wait!

Very nice shots. You were lucky to have such a bright day there. We had an overcast, drizzly sort of day, and I don't think it is unusual.
Paul, that will be a great trip and I'm sure you'll post lots of winners. There is some great hiking around Milford Sound.

Great shot of Mitre Peak.
On 5th March, just gone, there was 306mm of rain in that one single day. Incredible. Their yearly rainful I beleive is several metres. :)

Yep the day of 306mm rainfall saw us driving from Queenstown to Te Anau with a little concern- we were booked to start hiking the Kepler track the next day! Fortunately the weather cleared and we started as we should- PaulHillon, make sure you do some tramping while you are over there- but have a good raincoat :)
