I always knew I had a macro calling.

I used extension tubes for many years, then finally bought my first macro lens a year ago. Had fun with it, too.

Then, last Sunday, as I walked about the woodlands with a EF 200 lens on the XTi, the lens came off and the EF-S 60 went on as I spotted some orange gumdrop type fungus growing from the downed limbs of a tree.

Makes me wonder what I would really have seen with a MP-E 65 macro lens.

Probably with the MP-E 65 you would have seen more but gotten zip for a picture. Get a lot of practice in with your 60 before you dream about the 65 - big difference in how they re used. The 5 does take special skills, etc. You need to work on getting your focus correct.
