A thin sliver of moon

As the sun was setting tonight, I happened to suspect the moon should be fairly young, so I loaded up cartes and sure enough it was, and would be in a decent viewing area for me. I hauled my gear out and waited. Finally I was treated to this:

Not the youngest ever photographed, far from it, but this is as about as young as I have taken a photo of it

Neat. I still need to try one when the sky is still blue.

I tried a few tonight after dark, but when I downloaded them I found out my focus was off (tried manually focusing, bad idea..lol). Hoping it will sill be clear tomorrow night, as it was already below the horizon when I discovered my error.
