I really really love taking upclose shots.
I'd normally be taking the shots both indoor and outdoor (my test subject is normally my cat) I have a Digital Rebel and with the kit lens. I'm looking for something
that does really well up close. (keep in mind I am on a budget as well so no L glass)
Any suggestions? Pardon my newbiness.

I think i'm gonna pick up a few filters for my kit lens as well.
Anyone have any recomendations for specific brands for filters?
or specific fliters which will give off crazy effects?
I'm just looking to play, and do a few creative things here and there.
Testing the waters so to say.
