I work for a college newspaper, and want to do a "Photo story", (A slideshow of many photos with audio clips), I'm wondering what you guys use? I'm on a windows setup, so it can't be a mac only approach.

You can put together a nice slide show with ProShow Gold. I recently upgraded to ProShow Producer so I can do more, but for a photojournalistic look, ProShow gold will work well.

I use adobe premiere pro.. but you have to know the program to make it easier than the other options, just like any of adobe's software. But once you do, it's the best. With sound slides I have tryed it and you are quite limited. But if you just want a simple ken-burns style regular deal, it's the easiest way I've seen so far. I think another option you might try is the windows movie maker that comes with your computer... import images.. give them a time, transition, sound, bam! That's my new recomondation.
