This is my first attempt to "manually" convert to BW and dodge/burn as needed.
Any suggestions? C&C?

I actually have some. She wants it for an actor headshot and this is the one she picked.

I like the crop. There seems to be some hot spots on her skin, forehead and left cheek down to the chin? It just doesn't look right.
I would like to see the original without any pp.

I notice that you desaturated, not converted..you can tell when you edit it, you are able to slide the tint and see color.
Covert totally to B&W, then use your slliders to control the contrast and brightness:D I like this crop.I focus on her eyes right away.
