I saw a posting recently from Limekiln State Park (Just south of Big Sur on coastal Highway 1 in California) I live closeby but haven't been there in years. That shot reminded me I was overdue for a visit. This was from last weekend.

Great shot. Love the water. I find it difficult to expose properly in wooded areas. In this case, I would have liked to see more detail in the upper-right section but this would have probably led to problems with the stream.
Nice work.

Pretty picture. :) Did you need an ND filter or just stop down until you got a slow enough shutter?

Your right ajbalazic. I was trying to keep from blowing out the water and the backround suffered. I try to PS it and get some detail back.

jgbeam,
There was a forest canopy overhead and it was early in the day so the light level was fairly low. I stopped down to f18 to keep foreground and backround in foucs and exposed for 5 seconds at 100ASA. Brought a ND filter along but didn't use it all day.
