I searched thru the archives for LCD protectors and didnt come across any posting ... just about replacing broken LCDs ... hence this Q ...

I have a powershot S70 and would like to protect the LCD from getting scratched/cracked. has anyone used www.daproducts.com (http://www.daproducts.com) 's LCD protectors for the S70 and found it effective? if so, pl provide your comments.

cheers

I bought mine at Radio Shack. It worked alright for a while. However it might be more trouble than it's worth. You can get these protectors all over.

I use a magnified viewer on my LCD so I removed the protector. I decided to simply tolerate a certaon level of scratches. I've had my A70 for about a year.

da products protectors are pretty nice. they are about 1/8" thick, nice hard plastic to protect that lcd. on my sd300 it kind of sticks out a little, but well worth it for the added protection sice my screen is basicly unprotected without it. i have gotten used to the look and it does not bother me at all...

thanks, chris

I use a DA Products protector on my S30 and it does the job perfectly. In my opinion its a vast improvement on stick on film protectors.
