where do you guys usually shot? or where have you shot lately?

Two weeks ago, we shot abstracts at a train museum at Travel Town. Last week, we were at the Zoo trying to get something interesting with the zebras. Todayy, a member and I'll be at Santa Monica for some street shootin'. Group sizes can range from upto 2 to about 6 or so depending on who can make it and such. I think the biggest was around 10 or so.

The Queen Mary is has free admissions to So. Cal. residents this month, so we're gonna go aboard the Queen Mary next Sunday.

We normally talk on the board and if there is something interesting coming up we try to arrange a gathering for that event or if nothing is coming up, just regular stand by's around LA, which there are plenty of.

You skill in photography means absolutely nada here. Bring your gear and the will to learn and that is all you need. Once you get there everyone is the same. I felt the same way when I went to my first meet and know after bean to plenty of meets it feels normal.

"Strobist" Is flash, So if you have a external slash bring it, if not then you the pop up flash or be creative with it at least.;)

Alright guys, Craiglee had a suggestion that we shoot at Huntington Beach. Is that ok with everyone? I feel this is a great place for us to shoot because you can shoot whatever you want over there. (ie, wanna shoot birds, etc)

I love how I have the cool face instead of a number. One more flaw of smile icons. Looks like this is going to be a good sized meet. A good opportunity to learn fro others that know what you don't. Also don't forget to bring some extra batteries for your flashes.
