Took a trip to Stratford Butterfly Farm again yesterday. Here are some of the shots that i have processed so far. Enjoy.

All with the 350D, MPE-65 and MT24ex. The Iguana was with the 30D and Tamron 90mm.

Hi

I like them, nice. what's up with the eye in the first pic, almost looks like it has a piece of tape or something on the eye?? Is that just a reflection.

Thanks Chris, it had not long emerged and still had some sort of film over its eyes.

Wonderful shots Alistair - I especially like the fur detail in the second one.

Think the droplet in #4 is pretty amazing to get too.

insane detail and sharpness, can't even point out a favorite, technically they're all perfect in my eyes, well done!

wonderful shots! how did you manage to find such willing participants? even with my 70-200mm butterflies are some times hard to shoot because they won't stay still...

you will find that butterflies brought up in captivity are amazingly compliant. My local BH closed recently which is somewhat annoying.
