This was taken with my hands surrounding the lens while it took 3 exposures....there was so much glare up there but at least I got one good shot

NICE shot!
It can be a pain at night. Douring the day I had no problem with glare/reflections up there.

hahaha, yeah! I think out of about 10 possible shots this had the least glare and the windows were kind of dirty
bringing windex next time :rolleyes:

I think that's because the windows were really dirty

I was wondering if you used a wide angle, it might cause something like that through really thick glass.

I used the 10-22....haven't heard about this scenario before

I haven't seen it before, but looking at this shot, it only smears out near the edges while the center is nice and sharp. I do have other experience shooting through glass though, and the thicker the glass, the more chance of a reflection artifact showing up, especially if your shooting at an angle through it. Just a stray thought. :)
