D60 Focusing Screen

I would like to take the focusing screen out of my D60 so that I can put cropping lines on it. Is that something that I can do or do I need to have a Canon tech remove it?

The focusing screen is not ment to be removed by users and its a very sensitive part.
The risc is very very high to damage it in the process of putting cropping lines on it.
Then this could desturbe you light metering.

I never would do this to my D60.

Something you could do that wouldn't be risky would be do put the cropping lines on the LCD. Better yet would be to construct a set of masks out of plastic you could move over your lcd to play around with cropping different areas instead of always cropping the same area on every photo.
