Ok...got for xmas an MP-E65 and just got today a Sigma EM-140DG flash.....

apart from getting frustrated with the MP-E65...(trying to focus, getting so close to bugs they just take off)....im now having probs with the flash...i cant seem to get the exposure right....

Ive even tried putting the camera onto full auto...with the flash attached and on....one shot it wont fire...and looks good (enough lighting anyway inside) and then the next shot it does fire...and its totall white....

ive tried putting it into manual....set iso to 200...shutter 200...f8 -16....but still get the same results...

ive now put the flash on the canon 100 2.8...and its even worse...

the flash is set to ETTL..

can anyone see what im doing wrong....getting a bit frustrated with the new toy!

Well, the good news is according link if you follow through to the Sigma site, they can upgrade the flash's firmware at the store (hopefully or it's a trip back to Sigma if ya can't find an area store that can flash the, well, flash)...as long as the flash has "EO ETTL II" on the back and a Serial Number lower than 2054400...

BTW, congrats on the great gift from, ummm, Santa... :D
