1 looks overblown and 2's side of the road porno mag look is terrible!

Hmmm. actually, #2 is quite a nice image.
On the edit: Not my first choice either for this line of work, but frankly I kinda like it ;)

Just wish the face of the 2nd guitarist in pic #1, was more toward the camera... Timing is always a challenge.

Image #2 looks like a photo taken through plexiglass... How does the original image look?

Good crop but there might be some other editing options on #2. How'd you get that perspective?

i like the texture effect you used for the 2nd image. I think it's one of those things that you either like or hate.

Nice grunge effect on #2. I haven't been doing much on the post-processing part of photography lately... But, after seeing that shot, I think I'm gonna make some textures tonight lol.
