I don't know if this thread has already been posted, but I didn't see it.... So in Celebration of the New Year, post your FAVORITE wedding/ bridal shot of 2008 (that you took, of course). It can only be one, so choose carefully!
Mine is from a great TTD shoot I did over the summer!

These guy's were the most fantastic group you could ever want to photograph on their wedding day.
Far from technically perfect, but still my favorite wedding shot of 2008.

Soo hard to chose just one, this is one of my non "formal" pictures from a wedding this summer, just a candid, but I like it for some reason:

I know the 3rd one is a bit soft. It was taken at 300mm handheld.
Shooting was a challenge, it was overcast and pretty strong wind. The wedding was on the Beach at Tybee Island Georgia.

Now that is a quality shot. People just look at the story this shot tells. Look at the subjects and how they have motion. Can you see it? Can I explain it? Holy crap you nailed it man, you nailed it. This image makes me want to keep going back and looking at it over and over, this image is alive and commands your attention. I love it!

I know a lot of people liked a certain photo from this wedding. But I like this because it's the first I've seen and while it did not turn out quite like I wanted, it's something I hope to make as a signature and get better at it.

I'm not a regular poster (as per my post count) but it only seems appropriate that I thank you all for you kind words. It was a fun series and produced several keepers so it is definitely tough to pick just one. This was, without a doubt, some of my better work so its encouraging to hear that it is well received.
Cheers... Chris

Awesome work there. You made me want to go back to my set to see what else I had in there. This was originally my favorite but I haven't looked at it in almost a year. This was part of a year long series (she's my wife) that has covered 3 states in 9 months. The next session was intended to "finish the dress off" but she got pregnant so we're going to have to wait until she fits in the dress again before we can get it wet :)
BTW it was only about 45 degrees (sunrise in November - Death Valley) during this shoot so she gets a lot of credit for going through with this :D
