Tracking Seaguls

I took this a couple weeks ago at the beach here in Miami (actually hollywood beach). There was a flock of seaguls just flying around and posing for my lens, it was some of the most fun I've had shooting animals of any kind and I think they came out pretty decently.

Thank you for the compliment. I was using my Tamron 75-300 for most of the flying shots, I need to get a faster telephoto lens because that lens is my slowest and tracking took a lot more body movement than just relying on Servo, but I got the hang of it rather quickly.

I need to find out when the air and sea show is, I havent heard much about it to be honest, i'd seriously like to go this year.

You make that look easy, I went down by the beach the other day to try and get some. They're pretty fast and hard to get a good picture.

Perfect exposures! Full color of the sky and sea.. and birds are in sharp focus. Good job :)

I've been to it pretty much every year. I love military planes. I know so much about ALL OF THEM it's kind of scary.

I'll most likely go this year if my neighbor can get me the VIP tickets so I'm not in the super crowded area (she has connections).
