Hi everyone and Happy New Year.
I have some new equipment and am in need of help. I have a Canon Digital Rebel and just got a Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 lens and a Promaster 7500EDF flash. I got the faster lens and flash unit in order to take pictures in relatively low light sporting environments (swimming). Unfortunately, all my photos are coming out flat. That is there isn't much color definition at all. It doesn't seem to matter whether I am in low light or not. Can someone please point me in the right direction as to what I should be looking for?
