Well, as this is the first official day of my retirement (until after Labor Day at least, I only just turned 40), I can really get down to some fun and relaxation (read "Photography!"). Some friends asked me to take some pictures at their daughters birthday party a couple of weeks ago. This one is untouched but I like it.

You're retired at 40? that's awesome, how'd you manage that one? Been putting money into your RRSP since you were 2?

Actually, I have an opportunity to go into business for myself. Not Photography, not nearly good enough at that. I have been the DIrector of a Golf Club since 1991. Actually began working there when I was 13 years old picking up range balls for my Grandfather (the Golf Pro at the time). Basically 60-80 hour weeks March - November and then 40 during the winter since I was named Director. It was Time, believe me. This opportunity will allow me to take the summer off and be a better husband. That is what is important. I will make a ton of time for my favorite Hobby though! We are going to travel also so that should present many MK II opportunities as well.
