Hi all and Happy New year !

I got almost no presents this year except a weird looking bag . Well for my surprise in the bag there was an old Zorki 4 and 2 Rolls of ORWO NP22 Panchromatic film .
With the body itself i got a Jupiter-8 Lens that seems to be in a better condition than my 28-135.
The camera is in mint condition and is fully functional, any ideas if a film roll from 1986 is still ok if it is factory sealed ? And what should i try shooting with this camera ?
And please :D do tell me how to guess exposure as this body has none ...
As i have been told i should be expecting Leningrad 7 lightmeter soon but cant wait that long.
Boy am i excited ... This camera is like 3 times older than me and i cant wait to try it out .

TiA for any suggestions or ideas !

(expect pics soon )

I might suggest taking pictures with your 50 until you get some that you really like and than re shoot with the new/old one.

Please post both sets. ;)

If you haven't already, read up on the Sunny 16 Rule (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunny_16).

Thanks ! I will carry both with me . As the Zorki is like 3x smaller than my 50D . Thank you for the Sunny 16 rule i completely forgot about that and had it bookmarked . But i got another idea, meter with 50D and than make the adjustments on the Zorki - will that work ? :) And what about developing a 23 yrs old roll of film ?:p
and btw here is the scan of the rolls instructions :D http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll177/kakywbb/IMG.jpg

Great , i just finished reading the online manuals and loaded a roll . Cant wait to go out and shoot a bit. And when i showed it to my neighbor he said he will give me a Praktica with some lenses when he finds it . Great way to start a new year :D
