I think I'm getting better at the BnW conversions. This is still a little dark at the bottom, but I like it.

This is the same guy along with his twin brother on bass.

They don't really do it for me ... on the second one, my eye is drawn to the exit sign instead of to the guitarists, especially because there is so much negative space in the middle of the frame. The first one is just a little bit drab. Maybe try to get closer to the guitarist, and if you're going to shoot wide, find a cool angle, like maybe position the camera at his feet or head, not square in the middle of his body.

How about this one. Not much room to get an "angle" without getting a blurry mic stand.

Or for BnW, this one (seemes a little soft, OoF):

I like them, it's difficult to do and you've captured something of the performance. I prefer the second 2.

I like all of them. That neck on the flying V seems especialy long, maybe its just me. Burn the exit sign in a little bit, and see how that looks. Keep it up.

Ok, I brought the exit sign down a bit:

Then I brought it down some "more..."

I still like the original the best, but I can see how the exit sign is distracting.
Thanks for the input.
