I just read in the manual that this converter was available for my Power Shot S3 IS( I didn't have a clue)
The question is ,,,,,,,,will the Digital and Optical Zoom still function as an additinal range getter on the top of this TC?
If so anyone have a pic of its charicteristics?

Yes, they will. But I strongly recommend that you forget about "digital zoom". You can do the exact same thing, only better, in post-processing. As for optical, generally the manufacturers recommend that you don't use the auxiliary lens throughout the zoom range, but only at the relevant end.

Thank Jon but why forget about the digitalZoom aspect?

All it does is an in-camera crop and resize. Like I said, you can do this better, and with more control over the resizing, in post-processing. Basically it takes (say you've got "4x digital zoom") one pixel and splits it up into 16. The ones around the edges may be influenced by surrounding pixels, but you aren't going to get any detail that wasn't in the original "1x digital zoom" image.
