Swan and her young at Lake Morton in lakeland, Florida. They are in a protective cage. Used a sigma 70-300mm on my Rebel for the shot.

Nice shot. Were you trying to get them both, or did the cygnet fortuitously swim into the frame?

I was actually trying for both but the enclosure doesn't leave much room to maneuver I won't say how many shots went in the recycle bin. Sure am glad I'm shooting digital!!!!!
