Spend the last few days in NY and love it. New Year was freaking cold. I went to BH and i was like a kid in big candy store. Who said economy is bad? all the check out lanes at BH are full.

Great pics of the Big Apple! I really like the one of Grand Central Station...have many fond memories of arriving there by Amtrak. I missed it when they switched over to Penn Station. I'm thinking this was in the mid 90s. I'm starting to feel old all of the sudden. I've also been to the top of the twin towers in the late 80s/sometime in the 90s as well, long before their demise in 2001.
Where was the Empire State Bldg shot taken from? I'm having trouble placing it...CitiBank bldg, maybe or lucky enough to go up in one of the highrises, or perhaps heli-tour?
Of course the Statue of Liberty/Times Square are good too. Did you get a chance to climb it? I've been up to the crown, and have family that has been up to the flame at the very top.
Cheers,
Canuck

Empire state bldg shot taken from the top of the Rock. I didn't have a chance to climb up to the status of Liberty. Ticket was sold out. I have to wait for 3 hours to get to the ferry

Very nice series. I didn't know NYC could be so cold. But I was there in Feb-2000 and it was terrible. And I am used to the cold ;)
The only thing I miss in this great series is a picture of BH, since you mentioned it :)
